Beruk Amare and Bryan Dyer met in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia while Bryan was new to the country. Beruk and Bryan found themselves in long conversations about how to promote positive change and the answer always came back to the importance of education.
They saw need to not only give children access to education, but also support them and their families. After a lot of research and talking they decided to move forward and found Madiba Children’s Outreach in 2011.
Mission: Education and welfare provision for all underprivileged children through sponsorship and direct initiative
Vision: Provide educational and welfare, including medical, support for underprivileged children and families throughout community locations in Ethiopia, with a focus on expanding support programs throughout the whole of Africa and worldwide.
